Tray Densters
Densting machines to this design have been in use for twenty years and have established an excellent record for performance and reliability. Originally designed to denest rolled-edge aluminium foil containers on "dedicated" packaging lines, the machines have been developed to cater for a wide range of tray styles and materials on multi-purpose lines, whilst retaining the well-proven and reliable engineering concept.

Integrated denesting machines are available in two formats - "modular" or "dedicated" and are driven by either linear actuator or direct coupling. Baseplates may be hinge-mounted to allow access under without disconnection, Machines work wholly above conveyor making them suitable for continous motion lines.
Integrated denesting machines are built to a high standard, using stainless steel for all contact parts. Anodised aluminium is normally used for mounting plates for lightness, but may be substituted by stainless steel if desired. Linear bearings are ball bushings on tool-steel shafts, unless otherwise requested.
Integrated Metal Solutions denesting machines offer the following advantages
- SIZE CHANGE on "modular" machines is achieved by a simple removal of one factory-set module and replacement with another. Size-change is tool-free and takes less than two minutes. All modules are supplied with their own storage tray.
- MINIMAL MAINTENANCE. Bearings are sealed, movements are very small and loading is light.
- BRUSHES ARE NOT USED as retainers/supports. These are not only an engineering and setting problem, but also a hygiene hazard as bristles can become dislodged and enter the food product.
- PLASTIC "NIPS" ARE NOT USED as retainers/supports. These are usually too loose (tray falls through) or too tight (container edge or tray rim becomes damaged).
- SUCTION CUPS ARE NOT USED. Frequently aluminium containers have dented bases due to transit and handling which suction cups will usually fail to handle. Suction cups often become blocked by packaging components and fail to work.

SPEED OF OPERATION is generally dependant upon the style, shape and nesting of the tray or container. The machines will run up to 60 cycles per minute for linear actuator drives and up to 100 cycles per minute for continuous motion drives.
Integrated Metal Solutions machinery fully complies with all current legislation covering hygiene, electrical safety and guarding and carries a full 12 month warranty.
All denesting equipment is designed and manufactured in the U.K. and is built to give long, low maintenance service.
